What if a vendor’s gbXML output does not pass all the test cases?

When the validation and test cases are complete in the Fall of 2016, there are going to be different levels of certification (3 levels). Therefore, if a vendor’s gbXML file does not pass all the test cases, it does not necessarily mean the gbXML file will be unintelligible or useless.

In fact, for over 15 years, we have not had a validation process, and gbXML was been successfully used by many software tools.

Validation will help improve the interoperability issues that do indeed occur.
